Brief introduction:

5182 aluminum coil is also a star product in 5-series Al-Mg anti-rust alloy, which has similar properties to aluminum 5A02 with high fatigue strength. But the 5182 aluminium alloy has slightly higher Mg content than 5A02, and a small amount of Si is added, so it has better weldability than aluminum 5A02 and similar other properties. In practice, the popular 5182 aluminium alloy is typical automotive aluminium used in the four doors and two covers of automobiles. Besides, Aluminum 5182 h19 for ring pull stock is also representative application. Of course, 5182 aluminum coil can be effectively applied to vehicle and ship stamping parts, fuel tanks/ pipes, brackets for street lamps, relectrical enclosures, refrigeration devices, oxygen generator, etc.


Applications and Features:

1. Excellent Formability. Mn content less 5182 aluminum coil relative 5083 alloy is more suitable for material forming. Most importantly, 5182 alloy is the best for large forming application compared with other series.

2. Outstanding Weldability. Gas welding, argon arc welding, spot welding and roll welding of 5182 aluminium alloy are all very good.

3. Other Properties. Besides, 5182 aluminum coill also has good strength, corrosion resistance, high plasticity, appropriate cutting performance, etc.
